YB Puan Jamaliah Jamaluddin is a Member of the Selangor State Executive Council, leading the portfolios of Public Health, Environment, Climate Change, and Green Technology. In this role, she steers state-level policies and initiatives that strengthen public health systems, advance sustainable development, and accelerate Selangor’s transition towards a climate-resilient and green economy.
First elected as the State Assemblyperson for Bandar Utama in 2018 and re-elected in 2023, YB Puan Jamaliah brings deep experience in legislative work, community engagement, and public service. Her career spans roles in local governance and policy support, including serving as a Special Assistant at the Damansara Utama Service Centre, a councillor for Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ), and positions in research and account management within the private sector.
YB Puan Jamaliah holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies with First Class Honours from Northwood University, United States, and a Diploma in Business Studies from Management & Science University, Malaysia.
